FINALLY GETTING RID OF THAT OLD JOURNAL. 8D Geez, it's been how many months since I wrote one?

Anyway, saw The Used again on Thursday! 8D GODITWASAWESOME.

Got there about three hours early... would've been four, but I forgot something and had to go back home to get it. D: Meh, I still got there before the line got too long... (better, left school early to do it! x3) The wait was anything but fun thanks to the cold wind and rain (Damn you, Chicago weather... though at least I wasn't wearing just a t-shirt like this one guy. D: When asked if he wasn't from the area, and therefor not familiar with the weather, he said, "No, I'm just fucking stupid." xDD ) This one guy kept asking every man that passed, "Can I borrow your coat?", and my friend was studying some type of science something for a test the next day. x3

When I got in, my friend had to get her bag check, which took some time, so I went ahead and again got into the third row. When she caught up to me, she got the fourth right behind me, so it worked out good. :3 I wasn't even behind any tall people this time! ^^

So, The Used. First off, if you saw that sign behind them from my pictures, it failed during a slide show they had going... took them about five tries to get it to lower so the bottom didn't catch on the top of the projector screen. xD Lolz, there was also what looked like a person way up above the stage to the right... I don' think it was moving, but a couple people thought it did... we were all just staring at it in the half hour between The Almost and The Used. O___o;;; I still don't know what it was.

They Opened with Blood on My Hands, which was kinda predictable, but worked great! <3 At one point Bert was saying how he and Quinn got drunk and beat each other up a few days before, the band broke up, and he got sent to the hospital. Obviously, Hospital was the next song. :3 Another one they did again from last time I saw them was Take It Away, and also All That I've Got (mentioned how pleased I was they did it last time since it was the first time I saw them and that was the first song I listened to when I was getting into them... I was just as pleased this time <3333). They did Blue and Yellow, which was great since I was hoping for it last time and didn't get it, Pretty Handsome Awkward, Not Listening, Buried Myself Alive... I think they did Taste of Ink? O_o It's ridiculous I can't remember since that's one of my favorite songs... but I think they did. From the new album... I remember they did Come Undone (possibly my favorite from the album), The Best of Me (really love this one, too), Empty Without You... might've been more, can't remember. Shame they didn't do Sold My Soul (...actually this might be my favorite xD) or Men Are All the Same... I like those. ^^

They did more at the end that I'm not remembering now... one thing I've learned for next time is to not pack my pockets so much. D: Dropped my Pokewalker, found it with my foot, and had to stand on it the rest of the concert (making sure I didn't get pushed away from it) because I was obviously incapable of picking it up (and no way was I losing mah Nidoran! I spent the past week walking around with him... I loves him now). >_< The front is all scratched up though... but it's the only way I wouldn't've minded that, 'cause now I think of the concert every time I look at it. xD

They also did some screwing around, of course. :3 At one point they did the beginning of "Don't Fear the Reaper" and I was like "FUCK YES", but then Bert goes, "DON'T FEAR MY WIENER." xDDDD I EVEN FOUND THE VIDEO GO WATCH -->>> [link]

Then there was the thing that the place had a balcony, so they were asked to jump off. xD I was so disappointed when nobody did... though there was this one girl that faked everyone out- her face looked set on jumping. xD

Finally got into the front row when the person in front of me couldn't take it anymore and got pulled out- I was very happy. ^.^ Except that bitch next to me got front, too... ugh, seriously, she was continuously elbowing me in the face and even once cut off my windpipe for a few seconds. D:< Granted, I know there were people pushing in from all sides, but it's not like she was just fighting for a good spot, she was vicious about it! O_o; Plus, by the end of the concert, my right ear was in such pain because of her shrill screams of "WHOOOOOOOOO BEERRRRRRRRRRRT!" SHE WOULD NOT SHUT UP. Then everyone but Quinn leaves the stage, so you think, "Maybe she's done?" BUT NO! Now, it's "QUIIIINNNNNNNN! WHOOOOOOOOOOOO! QUIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!11!1\" D8 Bah, she even got something from the stage. >_<;;; *hatehatehate*

Though I wasn't the only one with such problems! There was this chick behind me who kept yelling at someone to stop feeling her up, then the guy behind her says, "There's 200 people pushing on me! What do you want me to do?", and she says, "Just stand there and hold them back." xDDDD WTF??? What a wonderful idea, I'll go do that! Makes me wonder if she made it to the right concert. O_o;

Got a shirt. :3 It's a yellow one with the Artwork album cover on it... almost got a tour shirt, but they were out. My friend almost went home, my phone died, my dad was waiting with the car... several things happened at the end, so I ended up not getting any autographs, which I'm none too happy about. D: But, I did have an awesome time, so maybe I'll get some later... meh. I think that's about all of interest that happened... oh, except for this girl who passed me while I was waiting to get my shirt, then grabs my shoulders from behind and goes, "Oh, honey, you feel so goooood!" .____. I am of the opinion that she was drunk. Very drunk. But I got some amusement out of it once the "....Wtf? o_o" wore off, so whatever.
